This place is amazing there is no other way to say it. We drove from SAC to look at a car, it had its problems when we got there and that made us a bit upset because this was not disclosed to us on the phone. One of the sales managers was awful and rude. Completely disrespected us and we left. Tommy followed us out knowing there was a problem. Can;t say enough about Tommy, his character and his passion for what he does CUSTOMER SERVICE! He provided us with the GM Yamma who took care of the guy with an attitude problem. Yamma knows what he is doing meaning he can really run a business and take care of his customers. Yamma went above and beyond to take care of us. after that we met Denzo for financing and he took our experience to a whole new level. These guys are simply amazing. I contacted Ron from Santa Clara about a Mazda Miata that they had listed. Ron was friendly on the phone and asked me to come over to Colma. When we were there, the Miata was inside the showroom - their crown jewel, and Ron had to wriggle it past a huge BMW into the parking lot :-) Then, both I and my wife test drove the car. Ron was laid back and let us just enjoy the car. Back in the dealership, there wasn't much that he would come down on price. He showed me their invoice price in the system and said they couldn't sell below that. But that was the response we had had in other dealerships too, maybe because there wasn't much inventory for the particular model we wanted. Unlike them though, Hyundai Serramonte also included a free 90-day power train warranty, 3-day return and 7-day exchange, and they had free touchup work done for some fine scratches on the car by a person who lived close to us. I appreciate the transparent low-pressure friendly approach by the sales team here.

Can't say enough good things about my experience selling my car with these people. I listed my car on craig's list and got a lot of interest in it. However, many people were kind of flaky and were clearly interested in haggling. I know some people love to do this but I am not one of them. Ray Balba at Auto Choice contacted me regarding the vehicle, was up front with me about who he was and gave me a fair price for my car. Could I have made 3 or 4 percent more by selling it directly to another private party? Probably. Was it worth it to skip all the hassle associated with doing that? Definitely! They gave me all the appropriate paperwork to transfer ownership of the car quickly and correctly. They were transparent with me about why they made the offer they did and it really could not have been easier. If I had known about these guys earlier, I would never have listed my car on craig's list in the first place. Bottom line: friendly, professional, fair, easy.

Hyundai Genesis Leads Category in Strategic Vision's 2013 Total Quality Index

Hyundai Motor Corporation Tied for Third in Best Overall Total Quality



The 2013 Hyundai Genesis sedan was named Best-in-Segment (tied with the Audi A4), topping the near-luxury car category in Strategic Vision’s 2013 Total Quality Index^® (TQI). Overall, Hyundai Motor Corporation tied for third place with General Motors Corporation for Best Total Quality for an individual brand. The Total Quality Index measures total vehicle satisfaction among new car owners, reflecting not only the quality of the vehicles, but the emotional connections which accommodate all aspects of the ownership experience.

“Hyundai continues to be an industry-leader in terms of overall quality and satisfaction,” said Alexander Edwards, President, Strategic Vision. “The only thing that keeps the Hyundai Genesis from competing in the luxury category is its price point. The car’s ability to rub shoulders with its more expensive European rivals really shows the depth of Hyundai’s product lineup, and serves as an example for foreign and domestic brands alike.”

The Hyundai Genesis beat out competitors including the Lexus ES 350, Acura TSX Sedan, Lincoln MKS, Cadillac ATS and Volvo S60 in the near-luxury category.

The Total Quality Index asks buyers to rate all aspects of the ownership experience, from buying and owning, to performance and driving. Results were calculated from 17,568 buyers who purchased 2013 models during September to November 2012. Strategic Vision has presented the Total Quality Index annually since 1995.

Hyundai’s award-winning Genesis sedan continues its premium segment leadership for 2013 with simplified model offerings and a new ultimate navigation system with Blue Link^® telematics.
